WITH LOVE AND RESPECT
INVITING ALL MUSLIM PEOPLES
TO FOLLOW JESUS

Here is a list of things that might help prepare you for this work. You do NOT need to have these items accomplished before you apply or go with Frontiers, but they will be helpful in your preparation for the field.

1. Know your God so well that you will display strength and take action. (Daniel 11:32)
2. Abide in Christ, the true vine and only source of power (John 15:1-6).
3. Make friends among Muslims where you are.
4. Develop strong roots in your local church. Share vision and pray with leaders, pastors, elders or other mentors in your life.
5. Read all the books you can on Islam and sharing your heart with Muslims.
6. Extensions coursework with other ministries or seminaries.
7. Go on a short term trip to the Muslim world.
8. Complete Frontiers’ "the Journey starts here" form. Contact us and we'll email you a copy
9. Explore God’s will for your life’s purpose. Various books are available on this topic e.g. Experiencing God.
10. Discover your gifts, motivation and skills, and work through them in relation to service to Muslims.
11. Ask, “How can my gifts and skills contribute to an overseas team taking the Gospel to Muslims?”.
12. Learn as much application of Scripture as possible.
13. Get counseling for the possible “issues” in your life.
